Admission Office has never won a stakes race in nine prior stakes attempts. He had a nice recent second place finish in the 1 1/16-mile Sunshine Forever Stakes. He has should like the three turns and ran well in the three turn MacDiarmida Stakes (G2T). He will be closing on the field down the lane and should be able to capture a spot on the board.
Arklow won Arklow won the American Turf (G2T) as a 3-year-old in 2017 and was fourth in the Old Forester Turf Classic Stakes (G1T) and Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1T) the following year. He captured the Calumet Farm Kentucky Turf Cup Stakes (G3T) distance in 2018 and finished second in the race in 2019. He finished second in the 1 3/16-mile Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes Presented by Runhappy (G1T). He needs pace help up front and should improve off his last race and find a spot on the board.
Tiz a Slam is the race’s defending champion, winning a softer renewal on the lead before taking two graded stakes at Woodbine. He started a twice last year before his Louisville victory but is making his 2020 debut. His last start he was able to finish seventh in the Nov. 23 Red Smith Stakes (G3T) at Aqueduct Racetrack.
