Persisto is improving and has enough speed to be the one setting the pace. She broke her going one mile at Aqueduct on Jan. 10. Neither the two turns nor distance should be a problem. She should finish on the board.

Harvey’s Lil Girl will be making her 2020 debut. She has raced only twice and broke her maiden in December at Aqueduct. She has posted 3 solid works in Jan. She likes to come from off the pace.

Ankle Monitor record for her  8 starts is 4-1-1. She won her 2020 debut at Laurel going one mile. She like to come from off the pace and pass tried horse down the lane. This is first race around 2 turns. She may continue finding a place on the board.

Water White  had a bad outing in the Demoiselle (G2) Dec. 7. She was wide and bother the entire race. She broke her maiden going a mile. She needs to find a comfortable spot behind the leaders and have enough left to start her move around the tun for home.

Fiftyshays Ofgreen pedigree indicates that the two turns and distance should be to her liking. She won going 1 mile and 70 yards last year around two turns. She likes to sit behind the pace setters and should make her move down the lane. The faster the pace the better her chances.

Truth Hurts has followed the pace and pass tried horses turning for home. The is her first race at the distance and around two turns.

Quality Heat has been on the board in all five starts since her maiden victory on turf last summer. She ran an even race last start to finish third. She needs to show improvement to have a chance against this field.

J’s Top Three Picks:

    • Persisto
    • Harvey’s Lil Goil
    • Ankle Monitor
