Shotski appears to be the horse to outrun. He won the Remsen, broke his maiden at Laurel Park and ran fourth in Churchill Downs’ Street Sense Stakes going a one-turn mile. He should off the pace and make a move around the turn for home.
Portos has four starts and was able to break his maiden going 1 1/8 miles in his last race. He should be to let the pacesetters come back to him and pass tried horses down the lane. He should land on the board.
