9 Seismic Wave  Joel Rosario William Mott 6/1
10 Mohawk  Wayne Lordan Aidan O’Brien 10/1
11 Flying Scotsman  Ricardo Santana, Jr. Jack Sisterson 15/1

Henley’s Joy won the Belmont Derby (G1). He was able to find the rail and had a perfect trip. He has the rail again and find the rail to his liking again today. He should be on the board.

Rockemperor ran third in the Belmont Derby. He fell far off the early pace in the Belmont Derby  and had to run farther than the winner. A better post position today should help him to finish in the top three.

Flying Scotsman ran third in the American Derby (G3) after an eight month layoff. He has only started four time for 2-0-1 record. He should be forwardly placed, but the outside post is not a favorable starting point. He needs to improve from his last race to be on the board.

Social Paranoia finished second in the Belmont Derby. He has tactical speed and without any true speed horses makes him stalking ability a major advantage. He should finish on the board.

Digital Age has three wins from 4 starts in 2019. He finished fourth in the Belmont Derby. His late kick and better post position this time will help him close on the leaders down the lane. He should finish on the board.

Kadar overcame a poor start to run third in an allowance optional claiming,$80,000, turf race at Saratoga on July 18. He has race only 3 times for a record of 1-0-1. He needs to improve to have a chance at this level.

Mohawk is a two-time graded stakes winner in Europe . He won the Meld Stakes (G3) in Ireland. His task is hardly impossible, and he defeated his stablemate Cape of Good Hope in the Royal Lodge (G2) last year.

A Thread of Blue has 2 wins in 2019 at Gulfstream Park. He ran fourth in his most recent race the Penn Mile Stakes(G2). He should be on the lead down the backstretch and start to fade turning for home. He should finish off the board.

Eons has four consecutive wins. His last win was in the Kent Stakes at Delaware Park on July 6. He should be stalking the leaders and try to pass the pace setters down the backstretch. He has a chance to finish in top five.

Cape of Good Hope has race only once in the United States. Inhis first race the Belmont Derby he showed some late kick to pass tried horses to finish eight. He needs to improve to have a chance against this field. He should not be a factor.

Seismic Wave ran fifth in the Belmont Derby. He has a late kick but needs to better racing room down the stretch here than he found in the Belmont Derby. He is a late runner who should be near the front at the wire if he finds racing room.

Our Top Three Picks:

    • Social Paranoia
    • Rockemperor
    • Seismic Wave
