Race 9. Indiana Derby(G3). For three-year-old at 1 1/16 miles on dirt. Purse $500,000.

Roiland likes to come from off the pace but does not like to have his picture taken. He finished sixth in the Louisiana Derby (G2) and Lexington Stakes (G3), and fifth in the Oaklawn Invitational. His record for nine starts is 2-1-1. He should be on the board.

Hero Tiger has been competing in claiming and optional claiming races at Arlington Park. He has raced 15 time this year and has a record of 1-0-3. He broke break his maiden in a $10,000 claimer at Tampa Bay Downs. He should not be a factor.

Gray Magician finished fourth in the Sham Stakes (G3) and fifth in a January optional claimer at Santa Anita. He finished second in the UAE Derby (G2). He finished 19th in the Kentucky Derby. He should be forwardly place behind the leaders. He needs to improve to have a chance of being on the board.

Market Garden has one win from his four starts. He broke his maiden at Indiana Grand on the turf on May 15. His previous three starts at Keeneland and Gulfstream resulted in three losses at the maiden $30,000 claiming level. He is not ready to compete at this level and will not be a factor in the race.  

Frolic More has started 11 times and has a record of  2-3-2.  He finished second at Churchill Downs on June 29 in an optional claimer race. He won an allowance race at Churchill two starts ago. The victory came in a race originally scheduled for turf. He tried grade 3 stakes competition on May 4 in the Pat Day Mile. He finished sixth in that race. Also, the runner-up finish came in a six-furlong sprint. He is over his class level and should not be a factor.

Alwaysmining has recorded 7 wins from his 14 starts. He finished 11th in the Preakness Stakes. He finished third in the Easy Goer Stakes at Belmont Park. All of wins came at Laurel. He needs to continue to race in Black Listed races at Laurel. He is out classed in this race and should not be a factor.

Eskenforit has one win from his nine starts.  He broke his maiden in a $20,000 claiming race at Churchill Downs. He finished second in his most recent start a   starter allowance at Churchill Downs. He is out classed in this race and needs to stay in claiming races. He will not be a factor in the race.

Chess Chief finished fourth in a Churchill Downs allowance and sixth in the Oaklawn Invitational. He will be stalking the leaders and has a decent enough kick to run pass tired horses down the lane. He should find a spot on the board.

Long Range Toddy ran third in the Ohio Derby (G3). He did not have the same energy in that race as he has shown in his previous efforts.  He needs to return to previous level to have a chance of being on the board. He has the class level to be competitive here, but he needs to return to previous performance level to have a chance of being on the board. 

Math Wizard has two wins from his ten starts.  He ran second in his most recent race the Ohio Derby. He ran fourth in the Oaklawn Invitational and Wood Memorial Stakes (G2). He needs repeat those efforts to have a chance of finishing in the top three.

Mr. Money has 3 wins from his eight starts. He continues to improve in race. He won the Pat Day Mile (G3) and followed it up an improved effort in the Matt Winn Stakes (G3). He can handle the distance and is capable of running around one or two turns. If he repeats his last two performances , he will finish in the top two.
