Cracksman suffered a defeat at Royal Ascot last month. He needs rain to have a chance of winning.

Crystal Ocean won the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot was one of the best performances in that race in recent years. He should be able to win the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes .

Poet’s Word should provide Crystal Ocean a major threat. He has finished  runner-up on three occasions. The distance is likely to suit him. He should finish in the top three.
