Pure Sensation will seek to become the second horse in the brief history of the $200,000 Parx Dash (Grade III) to win the race three consecutive times.

Pure Sensation is undefeated in four starts on the Parx turf having also winning twice the Turf Monster (Grade III) in 2015 and 2017. In his most recent start he ran second the six-furlong Jaipur (Grade II) at Belmont.

The top three finishers from the Pennsylvania Governor’s Cup at Penn National on June 2nd will test Pure Sensation. They are : Oak Bluffs, Dubini, and Pool Winner. Oak Bluffs won by three quarters of a length the Penn National over Dubini with Pool Winner finishing in third.

Winning the Penn National was Oak Bluffs second career stakes win, and first in three years.

Dubini finished ninth to Purse Sensation in last September’s Turf Monster. Dubini ran second in the Aqueduct Turf Sprint Championship.

Pool Winner has started three times in 2018. He ran fourth in the Silks Run Stakes at Gulfstream Park on March 10th. He also ran fifth in the Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint on January 27th. Pool Winner finished fourth in the 2017 Parx Dash Sprint.

 

Tribalist in 2017 won the Green Flash Handicap at Del Mar. He ran second in the Eddie D (Grade III) at Santa Anita.

Vision Perfect won the Silks Run Stakes at Gulfstream Park on March 10th.  He finished sixth in his last race the Twin Spires Turf Sprint (Grade III) at Churchill Downs on May 4th.
